The Gungahlin Dance Academy is Gungahlin's premier dance school. GDA offers the highest standard of dance training in a positive and friendly environment. Our specialty is in the area of exemplary secure, safe and correct classical ballet technique.
Founded and owned by dancer/choreographer Jo McKinley, the Gungahlin Dance Academy's philosophy is to provide a positive and exciting learning environment where dancers can have fun, receive top class technical instruction and experience the incredible art of dance. GDA encourages dancers to take the disciplines of dance into their everyday lives, helping to build self-confidence, good self-esteem and a desire to succeed.
The Gungahlin Dance Academy offers ballet classes and examinations that follow the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum. In addition, GDA offers classes in jazz, tap, contemporary, performance work and private tuition. Students are also given the opportunity to perform in concerts and other community events.
